Salary range: ~RM7000

Job Description

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
• Preparing statutory accounts.
• Ensuring payments, amounts, and records are correct.
• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.
• Recording and filing cash transactions.
• Invoice processing and filing.
• Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers.
• Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
• Management of petty cash transactions.
• Controlling credit and ensuring debtors pay on time.
• Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts.

Requirements:
• Minimum of Diploma in accounting/finance, with knowledge of accounting software.
• Minimum one (1) year work experience in accounting and finance.
• Knowledge and understanding of SST or other relevant regulations is an advantage
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information sensitively and tactfully.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
• Possess high proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision.

Working hours : 9am-6pm (Monday-Friday)
