Temporary PROGRAMMER (OPEN SOURCE) for .NET
Salary range: ~RM2000
Job Description
(A) Job Purpose & (Briefly state job’s overall objective)
• As programming part of team for the .NET project.
• Will liaise with users for system development, testing, commissioning and training
• Will prepare the training and user manual for the developed system
• Will provide technical support for the project assigned
(B) Key Accountabilities / Job Responsibilities (List Describe the important end results you are expected to achieve. Start with the most important)
• Exhibit a strong understanding of programming concepts and methodologies
• Interact effectively with agency team, clients, vendors and partner agencies
• Ensure project status, roadblocks, and needs are properly communicated to project managers
• Work with senior development team to schedule work sessions to accelerate learning
• Communicate effectively with the direct manager on all project details, including timelines, deadlines, risks, and escalation items
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task across multiple projects
• Know when and how to properly ask questions
• Self-directed, organized, detail oriented and able to set and meet deadlines
• Possess knowledge of agency services and ability to talk intelligently about agency at internal and external meetings and industry functions
• Understand and evolve an understanding of client’s strategic goals
• Communicate and assist in the development of client plans, strategies, and deliverables around strategic goals
• Demonstrate creativity and conceptual thinking on client projects
• Stay on top of new technologies and best practices
(C) Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge (State the typical & minimum academic / professional qualification, specific skills/knowledge and type and length of experience required for this job)
• Good command in English/Bahasa Malaysia
• Diploma / Degree in IT or any engineering fields
• At least 1-2 years of experience in .NET/Java development for enterprise architecture, application architecture, and large-scale transactional system development
• Highly skilled computer programming experience with both front- and back- end programming
• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and MS SQL
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS.
• Proficiency with server side languages such as .NET and Java.
• Familiarity with technologies including IIS, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, Micro services, console apps and open source software.
• Familiarity with database technology including MS SQL, MySQL
• Familiarity with TFS, GIT, Jira, Confluence, SDLC, Agile and Scrum is Advantages
• Excellent verbal communication skills required
• Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills required
• MUST possess valid driving license D,
