Job Description
1. To plan and develop business strategies to meet our revenue and volume plan.
2. Find potential new customer and convert them to paid customer.
3. Innovative & self-motivated individual that able to develop and coordinate sales with new and existing customer.
4. Maintaining regular visits and phones contact with existing customers to build strong relationship as well as develop new relationship with new clients.
5. Conduct marketing for selected new projects.
6. Develop and increase customer portfolio.
7. Respond to RFQ/ preparation of quotation/proposal for new and current existing customers.
8. Able to build and maintain good relationship with customer in ensuring manage and interpreted customer’s requirements, negotiating and closing sales by agreeing the terms and conditions.
9. Coordinate order processing with the respective operation department to ensure timely shipment of customer’s cargo.
10. The candidate is responsible for growing the company’s Freight Forwarding, 3PL busines and Cross-border in an assigned territory, focus industry, in accordance with corporate objectives (i.e. revenue & profit targets, product growth initiatives, etc.)
11. The candidate serves as the main sales contact point for prospects and the sales account owner for customers assigned in their region/industry.
12. They must also find and develop qualified leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers.
13. The candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong freighting skills of both import/export by Air, Ocean (NVOCC) and land transportation.
14. The candidate must be capable of developing compelling value propositions that foster strong relationships with clients.
15. The candidate must be competent to selling value added 3PL solution, including customs brokerage, vendor management, Freight services, consolidation/CFS, warehousing & distribution is also critical for success.
16. Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
17. Must meet and search for new prospect and close the sales deal.

1. Sales Planning And Analysis
Prepare, propose and implement sales planning strategy; execute plan to achieve sales productivity standards and customer technology plan; review customers’ needs and develop appropriate solutions accordingly.
2. Sales Strategy
Recommend, develop, implement and communicate sales strategies in order to increase industry penetration.
3. Quality Management
Contact major accounts; conduct regular service reviews with Business Development Lead and customers; formulate sales policies and procedures and ensure compliance accordingly in order to minimize company’s risk exposures, as well as enhance service quality and to achieve revenue and volume targets.
4. Reporting
Gather, analyze and report information regarding performance and competitive activity submit weekly/monthly activity reports and other accounts and performance reports to executive management in order to insure coordination with the sale plan, goal and objectives.


1) Recognized Bachelor degree, Diploma or Higher School Certificates, ideally with major/concentrations in business/marketing, logistics and/or supply Chain management or equivalent degree.
2) Minimum or 1+ years of related outdoor sales experience, with a demonstrable book of business and strong shipper / consignee relationships in diversified industries.
3) Minimum 1 year within shipping / logistics industry.
4) Added advantage for candidate whom able to handle RORO / Conventional / and also Tanker vessels.
5) Experience in chartering + project / conventional shipment.
6) International experience in large scale business development.
7) Proven business development/sales record.
8) Strategic management and planning.
9) Able to manage multiple activities and opportunities.
10) Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications.
11) Relevant industry knowledge, logistics requirements, market trend sound database of industry player.
12) Relevant job knowledge and experience, including ocean (NVOCC) & air freight, both import and export.
13) Ability to sell/represent the company other lines of business including customs brokerage, consolidation/CFS and related value added information services.
14) A unique combination of good interpersonal and communications/presentation skills, both written and oral, coupled with a sharp business acumen and consultative sales approach.
15) Preferably currently in executive level within containerized shipping industry
